COVID-19 Safety Checklist for Daytime Yoga Classes
COVID-19 Safety helps protect you and your community. Classes were held online due to the Covid restrictions. Changes to studio practices have been made in line with Yoga Australia and Queensland Government guidelines.
When enrolling in face to face yoga classes you are agreeing to:
- Wash or sanitize your hands on entry and when leaving studio
- Practise physical distancing in the studio of 1.5m – refrain from hugging or shaking hands
- Cover coughs & sneezes
- Bring your own equipment
- Use disinfectant wipes to clean any studio equipment eg chairs, before & after use
- Pay by direct debit instead of in cash
- Observe restrictions on class sizes
- Advise your teacher if you contract COVID-19
- Not attend classes if you:
- are unwell with fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or
- have had contact with someone who has COVID-19, is being tested for COVID-19, or if you have travelled from a known hot spot in the last 14 days.
Due to restricted class size you must book in advance for face to face classes. The teacher will keep attendance records for contact tracing. There will be no casual attendance for the time being.
If you miss a class due to being unwell you can contact your teacher and have a class sent as a You Tube video link.
If further studio closures occur we will continue to have classes live on Zoom and those unable to attend will be sent a YouTube video link.
